Statute of the Athletic and Cultural Association of Amaliadas - H JAE Academy
JAE Academy is an officially registered, non-profit Athletic and Cultural Association based in Amaliada, Ilias, Greece, founded in 2016. Our foundational purpose is to foster the holistic development of youth by promoting the ethical, educational, and social values inherent in sports and Greek cultural heritage, particularly the spirit of Olympism. We are dedicated to operating transparently, focusing on community benefit rather than private gain.
1. Sports and Educational Academies (Our Core Action)
Our primary organizational activity is the establishment of sports departments and academies that serve local and international communities. We strive to provide high-quality training and educational infrastructure that goes beyond mere physical training. JAE Academy actively encourages member and athlete participation in organized matches, educational programs, and social and charity activities. This approach ensures that our athletes develop into well-rounded citizens who appreciate the social responsibility tied to athletics. A prime example of this mission in practice is our Olympic Immersion Program, which uses the proximity to Ancient Olympia to link modern sports training with profound historical and cultural lessons. Furthermore, we actively seek collaboration with other unions, federations, and public services for data exchange, knowledge transfer, and the broad promotion of ethical sports activities throughout Greece and Europe.
2. Public Engagement and Cultural Advocacy
To fulfill our cultural and social mandate, JAE Academy conducts robust public engagement. We organize and participate in public debates, conferences, and training seminars to raise awareness about the moral, social, cultural, and athletic content of our work. These events are vital tools for knowledge dissemination, community building, and promoting healthy lifestyles. We also regularly host speeches and events featuring educational and inspirational content, often collaborating with local authorities and experts. The organization arranges excursions, camps, and various other events, creating opportunities for our members and the wider community to engage physically and intellectually. Our advocacy efforts extend to engaging with public services, media, and law drafters to promote the publication of scientific works, specialized studies, and expert sports commentary, ensuring our impact resonates at a policy level.
3. Organizational Growth and Disciplinary Expansion
JAE Academy is committed to expanding its reach and impact. We follow established procedures for the establishment of new branches in various cities across Greece to make our programs accessible to a wider youth demographic. We maintain institutional flexibility by adhering to procedures for creating new sports disciplines or abolishing existing ones, as decided by the General Assembly, ensuring that our offerings remain relevant to the evolving needs of the athletic and educational landscape.
